People often ask us, “What are wild seedling pecans?” A wild seedling is what you might call the “original” pecan that thrives along the banks of the Mississippi River. They propagate in their natural habitat without the grafting or hybridizing. A small kernel, with a high oil content, is a stand out for flavor. The large, hybrid varieties may look impressive but the taste does not compare to the buttery flavor of a wild pecan. We handle only new crop pecans so they are the freshest available. We package and process pecan halves and pieces in a variety of packaging options as seen in the photo.
