If you think the world is crazy – you should try working at the Nut House!! It’s calm right now but we are busy getting ready for the “storm” that is expected to come over the next few weeks. The tariffs have added another layer of interest to our preparations for the fall. Since some of our products cannot be produced domestically – like cashews, Brazil nuts, coffee, cocoa beans (used to make chocolate) and coconut oil – they all came with some significant price increases. We’ve tightened our belts to try to keep things affordable without sacrificing the quality that you’ve come to expect from Kentucky Nut.
Lauren & Gloria have arrived to help with the craziness. Lauren is an experienced hand and the new girl, Gloria, is catching on quickly. Dawn & Karen have been here awhile and stand ready to take your orders and answer your questions. We enjoy talking to our customers on the phone and we really love meeting you face to face! If you are in far Western Kentucky we would love to have you stop in for a visit. If we don’t answer the phone you can leave a message but you won’t have to navigate an aggravating voice menu or place your order while talking to some artificial intelligence creature. We are determined to provide excellent customer service so we will do all we can to fill your orders promptly and correctly. If we do get something wrong (it does occasionally happen since the last time I checked, we were still human) please let us know so we can make it right.
We treat your gift orders with extra special attention. If you want, we will include your personalized, handwritten message on a card at no extra charge. Our custom baskets are assembled with care and are welcome gifts…they don’t have to be dusted or fed!!
